The source code for this has been lost, so this will not be worked on in the future. This was originally uploaded on Weight Gaming in February 2020.
Make sure to fully extract the zip file into a folder!
There’s also no sound yet, so don’t worry about your sound setup.
The game will boot into the “Options” menu by default when you first launch it, which is where you can read the controls you have set for the keyboard or gamepad, re-bind either one, change the screen size, or even change the icons used for hints! The only thing that saves, however, is your control binds.
Debug Controls:
- Numpad1 to expand the screen (goes all the way to fullscreen)
- Numpad2 to reset the room
- ESC to force-close the game quickly.
Tips:
- Press down on a slope to slide! If you’re Heavy, you’ll roll down it FAST!
- When trying to wall-jump, hold against the wall until after you jump off of it!
- If you’re having trouble with a platforming section, try letting go of the run button. Holding the run button all the time can make the game feel slippery from the added speed, like when you rush too much in Mario.

like the other comment i really like this game, ur artstyle here is good, character is cute, i like the mechanics yea yea.
if u ever go back to the idea of a wg platformer like this i would love to see it haha
Hello, I'm Choshi, and I really like what there is of this game so far! The lil fox character is so cute, and the mechanics at play here are really promising. I love the little nods to mario (the switch in the boss fight) and sonic (the rolling sprites). It's also a great touch to have a "shutthisdownnow" button haha.
I'm having an issue in the first level, though. I can't seem to complete it, but I'm not sure if I'm missing something obvious. I've been across the gap, down it, and to the door, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to go. The door leads to a long hallway that I can't find anything in. There are the blocks right before it, but you can't ground-pound until you're heavier. Sorry if I'm just dumb, lol.
A shame it's cancelled, but I'm sure you're off to better things. I already played Heavy Hunting, but I'm excited to check out the cooking game! Hope you're doing well, and hope your other projects go smoothly. Thanks for the fun lil experience!
No, that's normal - the "first" level was still a work in progress at the time, but the Time Trial stage was actually what I made first, so you can at least play that!
The idea of doing some kind of weight gain platformer is one I'd love to come back to, it's just not likely I'll come back to this version of the concept unless I were to start from scratch.
